Due to the action in the LC thread I thought we could have a place to discuss weed and other fun things. Also perhaps a place to scrawl intoxicated musings.

A couple months ago I got baked and watched License to Drive for the first time. I enjoyed the hell out of it and wanted to write a long report on it. Things like that highly encouraged ITT imo.

Speaking of which, I smoke like4-5 grams a day for two years now.

Getting older I find 4 grams lasts me a week or more, it's great.

I watched Shawshank Redemption while stoned a few months ago. Great movie anyway, but was even better while high. Makes you think about things a lot more. At least that was my experience.

Heading to Chase Field for Dodgers/Dbacks soon. I love getting high and just sitting in the bleachers watching batting practice. Not much is more relaxing to me than watching live baseball with a nice high.

Those weed-smoking stories are incredible. Keep 'em coming, I just can't get enough. Fascinating read.

What I've found is that I really relate more to people. Like the Griffin family I now see as a unit of humans rather than silly cartoon characters.

Looove watching period pieces. The Witch fascinated me, with their 1600s colonial dialogue.

Getting my medical card was a game changer for me. In the past, I just took whatever my guy picked up for me. Now I can experiment with all kinds of different strands. A couple grams of this, a couple of that....find out what you like best. There's just so many options now I feel I need to make a spreadsheet just to track what I've used and what I thought about it so I don't buy more of something I didn't care for.

My vape pen is my best friend though. I love being able to take it anywhere. Ballgames, bars, hanging out at a friend's house, took it on a flight with me, took it on/off the cruise ship several times. Anywhere there's people smoking cigarettes or vaping I can use it with no issue. A lot easier than having to light up a bowl or joint. I mostly just do that at home.

There is a difference between recreational incidentally and daily imo.

Sure. There's also a difference between daily and all the time. Some people get high as soon as they wake up, and maintain that all day, all while having a successful career/life. I couldn't imagine doing that.

I've never used a vaporizer like that. Just a vape pen, and the small handheld ones like a Pax.

I used a Volcano once about 5 years ago. First way I ever had marijuana. Is there any reason to use that over a small handheld vaporizer? I don't know what my thing is called, but you just put it a couple small pieces in its barrell, heat to about 400 degrees, and then hit the ****er a good 20 times or so.

I'm starting to feel like I need this. Since I started smoking again after a 2 year break I've been smoking smaller amounts earlier in the day.

I got a good one. It hadn't occurred to me before reading this thread, but when I die in 100 years this story will likely be a top 3 moment in my life. That's assuming both marriage and fatherhood.

17 years old, been smoking for 1 year+. Connect is consistent, the dark green purpleish fluffy sticky outdoors for cheap, and futuristic **** everyone desperately wants at twenty dollars a piece no discount no matter what.

Within the past two weeks I'd bought my 2nd car. Leather, sunroof, stick-shift, Bose sound system. Perfect. I leave school early with two people, we fill an old school dutch with outdoors. Fill it. Around the time I get home school's getting out. Faded.

My homie from next-door gets off the bus. We chill, it's too nice to be inside. I'm not highhigh anymore but I'm still up there somewhere. We roll up a full g of the futuristic, get in my new car. I can't remember what music was playing but I assure you it was fire.

3 minute drive through town, 12 minute drive on back roads. 10 minute blunt. Perfect. We toss the roach as I'm making our final left hand turn. It's May, 4pm, no clouds. We pass the 18th green on the left then the 1st's tee-box on the right. I pull into the parking lot for the driving range and kill the engine. Music's still on. My homie is looking to the left, being high. I'm being high and...being high. I look to the right and less than 20 feet from my car is a midget decked out head to toe in every PGA-approved golf accessories imaginable. We let that midget hit 3-4 balls with his tiny midget pitching wedge before we physically could not hold in the laughter. We geeked for at least 15 minutes, and I mean as geeked out as a person can be. I properly caught my breath at least 90 minutes later.

i haven't used any premium handheld vaporizers, i have used my friends' $30 one to smoke weed and wax and i felt like it hit a bit overly harsh. maybe i'm super spoiled but after lots of playing with the voncano i figured out the right texture to grind the bud at and the hottest heat to vaporize it so that i get no headache at all at any point AND it tastes crisp and unburnt.

the grinder that came with the volcano did it perfect, it ground it extremely fine, but the grinder itself was plastic and eventually chipped itself into uselessness. the best grinder for volcano is the space case with no keef catcher. just grind through 6-7 revolutions and it ends up almost like powder. as for heat i've been at 379F and that seems to be a good spot for lots of different strains.

the only downside is the bags get worn out, but maybe it's not a downside because i've been heavily using it for 6 years and the mechanics of it have never once faltered. i'll buy a new box of bags about once a year for ~60$.

I actually haven't even considered grinding up for my vaporizer. Now that I'm home I see that it's a Hebe Titan. Lol. $120. It's smooth, no coughing involved, good high for what I can tell.


Now here's a little story about my latest laughing fest. It was the 4th of July and I went down to my parents house in Oregon. My longtime BFF came over, and before long he had 6 hits of acid ready for delivery. So we took 3 each, watched fireworks with my mom and my buddy's old lady and then moved the show to his house. I should point out that my newly appointed weed master step-dad had given us a little more than quarter ounce of Buddha's Delight he grew last year.

So we get to his house, at this point I'm feeling the acid but not really getting visuals, friend his tripping hard. His girl goes to the store and gets us a ton of beer. I've never mixed drugs before, not even alcohol and weed. But soon we're slamming cans and smashing bongs and sucking Js that his lady is rolling. And I'm feeling like a ****ing champ. Sometimes after laughing really hard, I would get so light headed I would feel like I'd just done a whippit.

Little back story, is that me and this dude have been good friends dating back to elementary school, but we lost touch while I was living in Vegas, and recently reconnected. This was just the second time we'd seen each other in years. So much of the conversation was catching up on what we'd missed and reminiscing old times. He used to be a blackjack dealer and poker player, but hasn't done either in years. So I was talking to him about are silly in school gambling. In high school we each would carry dice and a deck of cards and assorted change to gamble with each other and other kids. One thing we would do is go to the upstairs gym and fire dice across the entire basketball court, and we would bet even/odd and such stuff, usually like 10 or 20 cents.

So I asked him what it's like to be so removed from all the gambling. He said he's simply replaced it with drugs. Then he goes on to say of our dice tossing, that it didn't matter because either way you're gonna take a hot shower in the morning. Then he says, "You think you take a hotter shower than me dude?!" Not directed to me, but in general, as a way of saying "you think you're better than me?" And I just lost it. For a long time. Just all the implications of the phrase were too much to bare. I was trying to think of ways to monetize the phrase.

I smoked a **** ton in HS and college but quit smoking my senior year and have tried to get a high once or twice in past 15 years but just don't enjoy it.

I did eat some edibles and binge watched it's always sunny with my fiance one night and laughed harder than I have in long time and also ate edibles and watched the finale of breaking bad and nearly had my head explode, but overall it's just too overwhelming for me now so I just don't do it.

but man I really wish I still liked it cuz I think vape pens are so awesome and i wish I could have one and a volcano and a medical card and get all the yummy edibles.

no joke I think the edible candies taste better than actual sweets I wish I could eat them for the flavor and not get high.

they are no joke the tastiest things I've ever had but I can't deal with being totally useless for 6+hrs.

if I could somehow get the edible treats and not get high I would never eat regular chocolate again.

and I really wish I liked being high so I could have a vape pen, those are so awesome.

Tried some edibles a couple weeks ago in Colorado, first time getting stoned in years. Couldn't sleep so channel surfed until I stumbled on The Jim Gaffigan Show. At the time I thought it was the funniest thing I had ever seen, could hardly catch my breath.

Rewatched the episode a few days later sober. It was fine but not nearly as hilarious as when stoned.

So I recently went to Amsterdam and did a space cake for the first time. The guy in the shop said to eat 1/4 of it, wait a couple hours and judge it from there. I did, and nothing after 2 hours. So I ate another 1/4. Still nothing. This was a recommended place, but did I get ripped off or do I have a high tolerance? I never smoked before either.

This reminds me, I stumbled across the TruTV show Those Who Can't, and had the same experience. Granted I still find it funny when sober, but Jesus Christ I nearly died watching it high.
