Just saw the tail end of a commercial for the Solo movie and from I saw it looked like Han was in a poker game showing Chewy his hand/cards. This movie is going to be so bad.

I haven't listened to the last couple of episodes, but celebrity chef Dave Chang has a podcast on The Ringer with Rian Johnson on the last episode. (I greatly enjoyed what I have heard of his Pre-Opening Diaries.)

TLJ was utter eye aids, the worst film I have seen at the cinema since Phantom Menace.

Ron Howard has directed a lot of good films. This SW has no "kiddie" element to it, much like Rogue One. Hopefully be on level with Rogue One.

Gotta tell ya, I've been on the fence about this new movie. First one I've ever considered not seeing immediately, but if Lando is gonna try to **** Han, Chewy, a robot and the Falcon...I'm in!!

69% critic and 55% audience on RT so far. Definitely made the right decision to wait and pirate this thing in a few months.

Gonna play wait and see with Episode IX too. A few years ago I never thought I'd hear myself say those words.

I can’t say it’s the worst movie I’ve seen in the last 6 months at least, which was Downsizing. Not offensively bad in an irritating way just pointless and boring. And for some reason really dark a lot of the time. Very lame main villain too though Paul Bettany is a decent actor - most of the design was well below SW quality though it didn’t look cheap either. Design just fell asleep.

Will make money but sounds like it might be a lot less than projected - I thought they pushed pretty hard to sell sequel possibilities with this but I don’t think it’s worth another one to Disney, my sense is that a lot of this movie’s audience will agree. A couple of friends that usually come with us passed on it too
