But the question is: do you stack them all together if there are different types of carts and where this requires you to take carts out of one line of a return bay to be able to stack like carts together?

So if a cart is deliberately left in a parking space, with no randomness, you're fine with it?

I'd really like to know your thought process when you (seemingly quite randomly) put the word "randomly" in that sentence.

We do it because we're jealous of your 10,000 lakes and your football team.

Adverb
'Without method or concious decision, indiscriminately.'

By randomly, I meant without actually thinking about a reasonable place to leave it, but just to leave it next to where you happened to park. I'm sure that most people that leave them in the middle of a parking space probably don't do so just to spite other drivers, but more so without thinking properly

Ie. 'it's already here, I'll just leave it here.'

To me there is no method to that, it's simply laziness.

The definition of "randomly" isn't at issue. It's the fact that it only bothers you when it's done randomly. I find it bizarre that it doesn't bother you if it's done intentionally or even maliciously.

I like finding food people forgot. Water, Gatorade, colas are usually at the bottom of basket. Bulk food stuff like cookies and almonds in basket up by handles.

One of my best jobs was getting paid twelve bucks an hour to collect carts. Listen to music, put on sunscreen, and do work and get paid. It was easy.

Purses and phones we'd return of course.

Never found any good drugs or guns.

What is this... 2005?.

I don't think i've used a Shopping cart/trolly since 2010.

On Sunday:
  1. Take phone out of pocket
  2. Book 1hr delivery slot for Monday
  3. Order shopping

Monday:
  1. Have shopping delivered to kitchen by delivery driver

Did you keep the found merchandise yourself, or did you return them to the store?

Psshhhhhh, eat that **** brah, it's been paid for! Besides, 9 times out of 10, cart food gets trashed because no one wants to restock groceries left in a parking lot

Like I said, phones, Ipads, purses, wallets, bunk Rx drugs, all got returned unmolested.

No one comes back for food left in cart. As a cashier too, I noticed not many customers came back for items they or the bagger forgot unless it was baby stuff, pet stuff, or diet stuff.

No guilt in eating found food. The amount of waste stores generate is genuinely disturbing.

This weekend I went to Trader Joe's. I was hoping to play PLO or the 5/10 mix at Chasers so I was walking around with a wallet full of hundos. (however many you think that might be, double or triple it. yeah yeah sick brag)

So I run into TJ's with my wallet to pick up a couple things and end up with a cart full. After emptying cart, I return it to corral cuz I ain't 27o but I was looking around, very aware of other carts and looking to see if there was anything photo worthy for this thread.

Nope! So I put my cart away in corral, and left my wallet in child seat.

I got home, went to give my son a $20 and doh! I freaked the effff out. My wallet was sitting in the gosh darn corral. I gave myself about 30% chance of getting it back.

I called TJ's and yep, they had it. I dunno if it was the honest cart gatherer or a shopper but dang, I believe in humanity. Every hundo intact.

You're still down 70% of wallet contents in Sklansky Bucks.

Thieves are 83% less likely to steal from a cart that has been properly returned versus a cart left randomly in the parking lot.
