The A+ has consistently been a great card for churning. Usually not worth keeping after the first year due to the AF vs other options.
It is a bit more difficult than most cards to convert the points to dollars, especially if you don't plan to use the pots to reimburse actual travel. However, there are always workarounds
I was able to get another (previous ones are closed) A+ earlier this year at way more than 5/24, but I intentionally put a lot of spend on a different Barclay card beforehand. Not sure what the DPs say about your /24 status these days as I won't be able to get a new one for a while.
