it's not 664 plus tax. it's 1300 plus tax minus all that stuff bc you pay tax on the full amount.


also there's a good chance ebates corrects the massive over payment on the cash back

if you use the website slickdeals.net i learned today you can set up a deal alert based on the post title, i.e. @title "amex offer" will send you an email any time someone posts about a new offer.

Apparently people have twitter bots and **** set up to lock down a ton of these offers really quickly, and since AMEX only has a limited amount, you need to add the offers to your card(s) pretty much the day of in order to get them if they are highly desired.

thinking of asking dell to refund 800 dollars the purchase on to a card i used and charging this new card the 800 but i don't want to screw up the ebates cashback

i figure i'll sell the points for about 1300. the af is 450 but i'll recoup 200 each year with the airline credit and another 100 getting global entry so that's a wash.

from what i understand the points have even more value if you use them for international travel.

I think that you can only change your airline once per year.

Download the MPX app (United Mileage Plus app) and set your airline to United. Purchase Amazon gift card through the MPX app and it will code as airline. Credit will be refunded within a few days from my experience.

100k MR has a value well north of $1k, depending on how you use it. You can get the AF once in 2016 and once in 2017 before cancelling (if you want). Global entry credit isn't bad, but I wouldn't purchase it on its own, so I wouldn't consider that valuable. What really intrigues a lot of people are the lounges that you get access to. Not only are they extremely nice, but they provide food and drinks, which can add up to a lot of value if you travel a lot.
