Ya what the hell, this is such an obvious point. Private companies can do almost whatever they want. There are like 4 or 5 things they're not allowed to discriminate against (lawyers of 2+2 please feel free to clarify), otherwise they let in whoever they feel like. I'm a little bit shocked there are Americans out there that didn't realize this.
It's probably a separate discussion whether this is good for society, but of course this is how it works in the USA.
