There is serious talk of banning incoming travel from the US here in Europe. I guess DJT's isolationist policy may bear fruit after all.

It might not bode well for when we get a vaccine though; with the flip side of that being the err, political views shall we say, of vaccination in some quarters of the US.

Denial is metastatic within the psyche. When its your go to move regarding uncomfortable truth, the actions of people are truly inexplicable except for understanding this basic dynamic. I deny, I lie it away, I eventually at the end game of this strategy ... display outright contempt for truth, by flagrantly doing the very opposite of what truth, if admitted, would demand.. To wit, passing a law making it illegal to mandate mask wearing. It's a subconscious process. Denial raised to the point of not only avoiding, but aggressing against truth.

I hope they don’t ban American travel to the EU. I intend to pick up or depending on how bad things are visit my son who’s visiting his my in laws in France. If so I understand but crud.

How hard would it be to ship people to other states that have hospital capacity? Obviously if every state spikes we are screwed but seems like if only a few states are spiking at a time the nation should be able to figure something out.

What really pisses me off is I have insurance (which I pay 300$ monthly) and they have a copay and then decide 2 months later your copay isnt enough to cover that blood test you got so you owe 200$ more. I understand their argument but its bullshit. To me the premium covers any tests the doctor decides needs to be done
