Their claim as I recall was that they could differentiate between antibodies from having Covid-19 and being reactive for the vaccine. I was the later (8+ weeks after 2nd Pfizer stick).

Seriously though, there's some agency that keeps track of who has been vaccinated.

Hopefully, when determining who has/hasn't been vaxxed when entering the ICU they check the database vs taking the word of the patient.

Any serum test that checks for the nucleocapsid protein will be positive for previous infections but negative for vaccinations, whereas serum tests that only detect the spike protein will be positive for both.

I think I'm in favor of mask mandates as a way to get antivaxxers to get the damn jab.

The best carrot the government had to induce people to get the jab was to tell them "just do it, and then you can stop masking." Seems a lot harder to get people to get the stupid shot when they might not even get that benefit anymore.
