iirc winning the mega millions is more dangerous than covid. i heard the winners often end up dead pretty quick

I fully and sincerely believe that winning the lotto would have terrible, awful effects on my life.

And yet there's no question in my mind that if offered a winning lotto ticket, I would instantly take it and cash it.

Fortunately this is just a million, enough to buy a good used car and a bottle of high end bourbon, not life changing money.

I had to take temps today for some outdoor function and out of all people, one person said no. i was kinda taken aback I said, why? she said, She doesn't believe in it

I think so, I told her why is that and she wouldn't respond to me and walked away when everyone at function needed temp taken

in fact, I starting wearing a mask being the captious nelly that I am back in mid march even when I think cdc and fauci were saying it wasn't necessary. cdc also said to wear two masks a few months ago which was right.

CDC has been wrong before, i ll take my cautious approach for now.

That issue actually came up in one of the cases at our firm. The analysis of our attorneys is that it isn't relevant in an at-will state. There has been a suit filed asserting this somewhere, but the opinion at our firm is that it can't win. The only curbs on the employer's requirement are probably Title VII (religious objections) and the ADA (Medical objections).

Broadly speaking, employers can fire you for almost any reason, so long as it isn't discriminatory.

You're not hurting anyone else, so from that standpoint it's totally fine, your risk profile is your own business. That said, you're fearing a monster under the bed if you're fully vaxxed and still worried about this thing wrecking you.

I'm hoping this CDC update will lead states and localities to quickly update things to lift mandates for unvaccinated people. And if they want to include some "feel free to keep wearing a mask" if you want language, that's fine.

Interesting that she didn't (maybe?) believe that a high temperature can be indicative of illness. Not necessarily Covid, of course.

im not worried just CDC in the last year has been right on A LOT of issues, and also kinda wrong on one or two.

yes with a JJ vacc even im being overly cautious or even if i had pfizer or whatever.


i dont think i have had it but who nothign is for certain and unless I live in a bubble I cant be 100% certain i wont get it. just need to do my best to try to avoid it



I think mask mandates are now Going to be loosened and I feel tons of those anti vacc anti covid people are going to abuse saying they have the vacc when they dont

if it was an indoors event im prolly being an ******* and grilling her to the point where I get in front of her so she cant walk forward and explain to me what she means and that she is a ****ign complete idiot who shouldn't be parenting if she is one. but thats taking it too far prolly.

My issue is unvaccinated people will be off the hook with little-to-no enforcement of "no mask but let me see your vaccination card" by the vast majority of businesses/places. They pass it off to each other and to smaller children not eligible for vaccine and continue to breed new mutations that evolve to the point where vaccine efficacy suffers. I feel for any parents with young kids who are going to suffer dearly for the sake of tHe EcOnOmY
