I put on there that I have a heart condition and obese. High blood pressure. Just checked the CDC chart and I think if I lose one more pound I move out of obese and into the normal range. Guess I should eat a big breakfast in case they weigh me, lol.

Edit: Taking her actually isn't linked to my appt. We have to go to different places. Her appt is at one location from 12-3 and mine is at a totally different place from 3-4:30. Long day of standing in lines for me, but worth it.

Damn! That's inconvenient. No drive-thru? I went to drive-thru, never got out of the car. Never felt the stick or had any soreness at all yesterday. Today I slept 2-3 hours longer than usual and woke up with a sore arm at the injection site. About the same as the worst flu shot.

Got my first stick today and was super easy. Signed up online, in and out of the procedure in 20 min including the 15 waiting period post vaccine. The company that writes my paycheck is a major hospital system so I got swept in their vaccine program.

Asked the nurse when does the chip go in and she replied, "It's already in the dose." Do we get any notification when the chip starts tracking us? Maybe an email from Bill Gates himself?

No drive through. Was a bit of a cluster****. I signed up the three people in my household on 3 different personal email accounts (they said it would confuse the system to reuse the same address when I signed up). I really didn't pay attention to which of us was associated with which email though, figured when I got the email it would have a name on it. Nope. Took gma to the first appointment this morning, fairly confident in my memory of which email went with each person. Nope. That was gf's appointment. Hustled home, picked her up, took her back to the site and then went to the second site where my appointment was to verify if it was me or gma. Turns out it was my appointment but gma was scheduled at another site that nobody knew where it was. Luckily, they said that's ok, we'll do her here along with you. Ran to get her out of the car and into the wheelchair, straight to the front of the very long line! So, instead of 2 out of 3 of us getting round 1 all 3 of us got the jab today! Pretty good day. Slight soreness so far, nothing major, about the same as a flu shot. The 2 sites had different brands so I guess we are officially a mixed household now. Gf got Pfizer, gma and I got Moderna.

Clinic called me today to tell me I officially got the Pfizer vaccine back in September. Govt allowed them to unblind everyone since they are widely distributing it. I was 99% sure based on side effects but good to get confirmation. I go back in March for 6 month followup.

Main concern now is that we still don't know how long immunity lasts. I am assuming this may end up being a yearly shot like the flu. But I don't think the scientists know yet.

Damn, just found out I had the opportunity to get vaccinated yesterday, but either missed the notice/someone forgot to tell me/I was out, so will have to wait till next time, whenever that is.
