We've moved to 1B for vaccinations. That's 65+ for Texas. Today I called my doctor's office to see if they had any info on the heart conditions that qualify under 65 to be 1B because it seems pretty unclear (I take BP meds but don't think that qualifies me). His idiot office manager (his ex wife) assumed that I was trying to get OUT of the vaccine for some reason and was assuring me that I don't have to take it if I don't want to. Then she started talking about how the trials were rushed, how some people were getting bell palsy, and some other crazy conspiracy ****. Now I guess I'm going to have to talk to the doctor and see if this is his official opinion or if he needs to tell her to stfu. Either way, it seems really bad for any medical professional to be discouraging people from getting the vaccine and I'm not looking forward to having to find a new GP. Ugh.
