If the first wipe or two is super messy, don't bother. But after that you can fold your little wad in half and get another wipe out of it. Try folding diagonally for more surface area and less chance of poopy fingers!

If you're down to a small dot and it's like trying to wipe the ink off a magic marker - you can sometimes even get 3 wipes out of one wad!

I'm not going crazy. I truly don't believe the supply of food is going to run out. We (thankfully) have not exported all of our food-making overseas.

I think the have's should be doing our damnedest to ensure the have-not's don't collapse. Hoarding up on cans of corn isn't the way to go about it, unless you plan to donate it all to a food bank when this is all over.

I think that we have to be socially responsible as best we can today. I plan to support as many local businesses as I can.

Apparently one of the symptoms (very odd) is that all food tastes like nothing. I’ve heard this from three of the people who have it.

Obv this isn’t a real issue but I wonder if this is widespread among those infected. I haven’t seen this reported anywhere.

I dunno. If, like in the UK, your stated(and then denied) goal is herd immunity maybe it's better to have half the population out there getting sick and then becoming immune while the other half hunkers down.

Also while it is still utterly terrifying and sad beyond belief, it's somewhat reassuring to know that the average age of the dead in Italy is still 78.5 and the vast majority have comorbidity of some description.

It feels awful thinking about/typing all of this; any option right now seems like a sophie's choice. The infuriating thing is that it seems even now, for a vast portion of the population, the gravity of this still isn't apparent. One of my friends texted a group chat I'm in just today, asking if anyone was up for a poker night midweek. "We're not on lockdown yet".

I don't get the term "social distancing" - it's plain physical distancing.
