We're kind of in uncharted waters because there's never been a hurry-up like this before and there are pretty obvious liability issues.

Those liability issues are crying out for a legislative solution. Indemnity for vaccine manufacturers and significant payments to challenge trial volunteers.

To those who say that the disadvantaged are more likely to volunteer if paid, I respond that the disadvantaged have been much more vulnerable to covid, and that it is precisely those populations I am trying to save with my challenge trial theory.

Glad to see, Si, that minds can be changed on the internet!

Go. I went to the dentist 2-3 months ago and was very impressed with the precautions in the office. YMMV, of course, but you can always turn around if you get spooked--at least you can before they start digging in your mouth.

Go to the dentist, for sure. I saw my dentist for a routine six-month clean and everyone in his office was careful. double masks, cleaning after each patient, not allowed in the waiting room, etc

Ask dentist for nitrous and worry about the covid later!

Yeah, I was in the camp of canceling my biannual cleaning/exam until the pandemic ended, but tooth pain forced my hand and I went in (and had to go in for a follow-up). It's been fine. I'd prefer not to do it still, but I don't think the play is to let a tooth problem grow into something worse, especially as conditions still aren't going to be fully safe for quite a while even under optimistic timelines.

Lol NFL in general, but Denver has 0 QB's this week because one came up pos and the other 3 didn't take the simplest care to wear a mask, so now they are all ineligible:

Welp, my BOLD prediction backfired. Dude got me negative points because his bombs were going to the other team. I can't wait for an odd year. Evens are just so unlucky.

If covid purely just took maybe 6-12 months off of life expectancy for most people, USA could expect a huge decrease of expected deaths in 2021, after all, all those expected to die in 2021 died in the last 8 months.

If you think this is actually going to be the case, hit me up, Il give you action if you truly think that 2021 brings less deaths than 2019.

How many people died from H1N1 in the first year? How many do you think died from Covid so far? To make it simple you can just reference US #s. Thanks.
