If you inject a federally-approved rushed vaccine into yourself or your children as soon as it comes out in Oct, god bless you. Trump has hijacked both the FDA and the CDC and currently neither has any integrity whatsoever.

Not like they could even mass produce it enough for even 5% of the population, but that's beside the point. The current admin would jast as soon inject you with air and consider the problem solved. PASS.

We won’t actually take it until next year after phase 3 is fully complete etc

They’ll just pretend like it’s ready before the election but reality will be next year (assuming these current candidates end up working well)

The biggest unknown when we actually take the vaccine will be long-term side effects. There is no way to shrink that time frame to knowing that.

Making an assumption that you are correct does not mean there isn't a debate, but whatever. I haven't heard any complaints from anyone about internal FDA assessments of clinical trials.

I'm confident that anyone genuinely concerned about the efficacy of a vaccine will be able to find objective, non-Trump-tainted information about it, whether that comes from the FDA or elsewhere.

The CDC put out specific guidelines this Spring for schools to safely open. Trump didn't like them, they were too tough. The CDC changed them to accommodate his wishes. It's nice you haven't heard of anyone complaining about the FDA as of now, but massive skepticism about Operation Warp Speed should absolutely be the default mindset. Politics has trumped safety since the beginning of this crisis with this administration, forcing the CDC to reject science to acquiesce to Trump is a prime example. It's presumptuous and dangerous to assume the FDA is somehow immune to politics given what has happened to the CDC.

both political sides do the same stuff for thier own re election benefits. its up to us to weed out the b.s. from the facts.
in our country no vaccine is going to be approved for general use without exhaustive testing. most likely it will be offered early for those in high risk, voluntarily. trump doesnt have any say in that. he may think he is king but his powers are limited. mostly to getting us blown up.

they are no longer renters if they refuse to pay the rent they agreed to pay when they moved in. then they have become squatters.
making a deal to pay partial rent with a time frame to make up what is owed is much different than refusing to pay rent.
is it much different than refusing to pay the store owner for the food you buy or your car payments and expecting to keep your car.

Surprise, surprise. Another Friday, another week without a stimulus solution.

I predict Trump will make some bs executive orders to try and "help" this weekend, but there will be strict stipulations that states will have no way to reasonably parse or administer, leading hardly anyone to be covered or able to receive funds. GOP will claim they shouldn't have even needed to help this much, while Dems will obviously say it's not enough. No actual stimulus resolution until September.

Pretty shameful, and 100% republicans fault. I'm so tired of the current R's. I hope the never trumpers can rebuild something not so ****ing horrible. They're doing so poorly, conceivably all of the big hitters can lose in Nov and it seems to be getting worse for them by the day. Lifelong racist goblins are leaving trump et al in droves, I just hope it shows up at the polls.
