it will spike but the vaccines will be enough to put it down to a minimal risk virus.

but enough will refuse the vaccine so it will be with us for a long time but not overly deadly unless it mutates into something else. and then we will be real sorry we didnt wipe it out when we had a chance.

I'm interested in the under on any surge bets, particularly on hospitalizations/deaths. Doubt it'll approach the winter highs at any point in the remainder of 2021. Vaccines work.

Any predictions of what the USA vaccination percent will be in September? Assume that all four of the main vaccines are available.

22% of the population is under 18 so I assume 78% is a hard maximum.

I think it will be tough to hit 50%.

i just got my second shot today and the line grew much longer than a month ago. now that most all can get in to it most are bellying up and getting the shot.

the young people i dont know about, few of them were there.

the shot is such a non event its crazy not to get it just on the case you catch the virus and you will sooner or later and end up messed up.

i dont get flu shots. as the downside is minimal in relation to the corona virus.

remember to save and maybe laminate and take a pic for your phone of the proof of vaccination. there will be some places and cases where,, no shot no go.

a volcano erupted today in the caribbean. they are evacuating those near by by boat. those that havent got vaccinated are not being let on at present.

there will be so many vaccine shots available they wont know how to get rid of them and the developing nations will have all they need. as it will be in the best interest of the strong nations to get all the world vaccinated to stop the chances of a mutated one from taking over that cant be controlled..

if the whole world all masked up and distanced for a month or two the virus would have been mostly gone.

now to control it vaccines and herd immunity are the only chance.
