Probably should have put this in the things that piss me of but shouldn't thread but....
I have a 1965 Zenith console TV in my man cave that I retro-fitted a 32 inch Emerson 720 dpi flat screen monitor in. Fitted it with a Firestick and stream YouTubeTV on it. Sound quality from the bottom firing speakers was let's say less than desirable, but I chalked it up to the nostalgia of the era. Been rocking this setup for the last 6 years or so.
Last week my JBL bluetooth speaker I used just to stream music died, as in completely dead. So I did some research and decided on a Harman Kardon Studio 8 replacement. While doing said research I was reading reviews about it and one mentioned that they had paired it with their Firestick and the TV sound was incredible.
Wait, what? Firestick has bluetooth capabilities??? Speaker shows up 2 days later and sure enough, if you go into settings on your Firestick it has a bluetooth pairing option. Took 10 seconds to pair it up and yes, incredible sound. Pissed that I could have been doing this with my JBL speaker the last 6 years.
If interested in a kick-ass new bluetooth speaker, the Studio 8 retails for $499. But T-Mobile has a special right now where you can get it for $179. You don't have to be a T-Mobile customer as you can check out as a guest. Highly recommend!
