I didn't actually use the (cast iron) griddle pan in the first picture I posted--just salted the steak, took a pic, let it rest then made the switch. (I was about to, but decided against it due to the griddle part)

I used a regular Calphalon pan for the searing part.

Gobbo gets up and does some light calisthenics. He speaks to the waiter and asks where the restroom is. Promises no barfing. ~25% meat and 1 side left to finish in the next 18 minutes or so.

Gobbo taps out with ~20% of the meat left. In other news, 80 oz of steak was not enough for me and the other 3 people at the table, so im going to gorge on gobbo's remaining steak so that his $250 is not spent in vain.
