I really never get how those videos have so many views. IMO they aren't funny at all, just stupid. Not like stupid that you laugh at, just plain dumb. I wonder what percent of views are people that somehow find them amusing vs people who click them intending to watch actual instructional videos.
decided to do a repeat of a few weeks ago...teriyaki marinated prime sirloin tips from costco paired with a classic loaded baked potato.
Cooked on a grill at about 650-700 degrees for 2:45 per side and came out perfect medium rare but it's hard to tell on the low light pics with my crappy iphone.
Once again, highly recommend prime sirloin from costco for price and quality of meat. Best value cut on the market imo.
Trying something from "Modernist Cuisine at Home" right now. Fake dry-aging steak by coating it in fish sauce, vacuum sealing it and then letting it rest like that for a couple of days. Interesting stuff, hope it'll turn out well.

thanks, usually I slap the leftovers on a hoagie bun with grilled onions and maybe a little extra japanese sauce and it's a pretty killer steak sandwhich...
other options for left over teriyaki steak is a tasty steak/eggs combo or slice it up and use for stir fry.

I have to admit I laughed when he dropped it on the floor and kicked it.
This sirloin steak was seasoned for roughly one hour with salt and black pepper and cooked on top of olive oil. 1.3 pounds, seared for 5 minutes on each side. I don't have a cast iron skillet, and am still fairly amateur at this, but I'm already cooking better steaks than most steakhouses I've been to.
