I couldn't imagine trying to roll out corn tortillas. Press' are cheap.
Think 5 year old masa that has been vac sealed is still good?
May have to give tamales a go when I have time.

his rice "toasted" for 20secs and he burned his garlic

Thank you very much Ser for keeping this thread alive. I'm going to try to contribute more, even though my stuff is very plain jane compared to you.

I think I have 1 or 2 episodes left to watch and have been enjoying it. It got good reviews on all the major sites, and in the OOTV forum.

Check your email/spam. I got an offer for $2.99/mo for 6 months. Previously I think they offered $.99/mo. Not sure if I'm going to have to deal with commercials, not a big deal if I do. Nostalgia! Will again fire up hulu and The Bear tonight.

Half the fun of watching these videos is seeing if Coco can keep her **** together while Matty goes ham, she looks likes she's about to go postal at times during Matt's antics

This one had my sides hurting from the laughter, especially around the 3 minute mark when they start ranting about catering.

If you've ever done catering or worked for people you'll relate

Do love Matty. My favourite video from him was when he joined Brad from Bon Appétit.

One of the prepackaged pork tenderloins, cracked black pepper variety, on the pellet grill. Garlic roasted potatoes and carrots. Asparagus, also on the pellet grill. Love those prepackaged tenderloins.

Me likey too. Enjoy the 2/$6?(not sure about current price) bacon wrapped glued together beef filets as well from HEB. Burned out on buying HEB fajita meat years ago, but still will smash when someone hosting thinks it is obligatory when firing up the grill.

microwaved potato chips came out surprisingly crunchy using only a few sprays of Pam (fresh garlic chives on top). Its a good hack for my diet in that it satisfies my desire for crunchy chips with few calories, I think all of this is less than 100 cals, 150 max

sure as hell does, its how much I eat not so much what I eat (except for daily protein goals for muscle preservation)

calories in, calories out works like a champ amigo

I'm down 60lbs and counting and I'm eating damn good, including potato chips like I posted

there are no magical or evil foods imo, just how much I'm shoving down my pie hole

Hell, Penn Gillette lost approximately 100 lbs eating potatoes and what I posted is just a potato, salt and maybe 1 teaspoon of oil (if that)

Off topic a little, but I planted a garden for the first time in my life and I can’t believe how much food you can produce in a relatively small space.

I’m just doing containers on my driveway so it’s not all that cost effective but the produce is great and the time sink and effort is shockingly low. If you’re purely looking to save money I’d recommend just potting up 5-6 different herbs. They pay for themselves 10-20 times over.

It also really makes you step outside the box cooking wise because you have to figure out what to do with 52 cucumbers or 13 ripe tomatoes. Also beets from the garden are absolutely amazing. A real standout.

Beet salad and tomato toast with pesto (and some chicken)

Peppers I’m fermenting for hot sauce.

General bounty with unintended drug paraphernalia.
