For me a patty melt is incomplete without tomato up against the beef...but I think a chipotle mayo would be awesome if you are feeling saucy.

Golden Lentil Curry

topped with flaked coconut, dried cranberries, and micro cilantro (because the non-micro cilantro looked like crap this week)

Thank you!!

We DO have a third bedroom...but first I'd need to know your opinion on appropriate thermostat settings.

Instagram is massive. Obviously a ton of awful food related content. My least favorite being the European dude who cooks in massive massive quantities.

Plenty of great stuff on IG though. This pork belly Thai basil recipe is awesome. Great account as well. She went vegetarian a year or so ago, but a ton of great recipes early on in the account.

I'm sorry, as much as I like you, I think I'd end up stabbing you in a feat of heat-induced rage.

Fine as long as they stay clear of the shower between 6 and 7:30 am.

I'm surprised the second one didn't taste good. It does in my head, but I admit I've been fooled by recipes before.

Made this last night (no pic):

Cuban Style Black Bean Tacos

It was mostly very good, but the beans needed more oomph. I didn't have "chorizo spice mix" so I used a combination of smoked paprika and crushed red pepper, and I think I may have needed to salt it a little more or add some chili powder or perhaps a touch more acid? (I used my last lime to dress a fresh corn salad that we had with it, but I think that might have woken it up.)

I admit I have barely eaten chorizo in my life, but based upon google, maybe I needed to up the garlic in the recipe? I'd appreciate any thoughts anybody has.

And I used flour tortillas because I'm a heathen and just like them better.

asian pages are cheating because its just normal asian fast food taken on a clean station with nice filters, you can't really discover anything if you've lived there.

that recipe is street fast food, it is delicious but its obviously in 100% of thai's repertoire once they turn 20-25.

IG is never showing my accounts that do anything western and good, its unfortunate. The best things i get is these guys with insane portions of meat on mostly sandwiches. Looks good but i'll never make any of those meals and its not what im looking for

Kenji and seriouseats are the only 2 IG accounts i got that don't suck, i keep liking their pictures and the algo still wont give me anything decent!

im doomed to be eating kenji and the seriouseat's team food for the rest of my life
which isnt too bad but i want more

i made kenji's cauliflower casserole, no pict cuz i didnt have enough breadcrums(did 2x recipe for it and still not enough) so it didnt look good

SO good.

I used old strong cheddar and a lot of mexican hot sauce with some ghost pepper hotsauce.

http://cheftsbookofgoodeats.blogspot...casserole.html

if you do it, do 4-5 times the amount of bread.

The grinder attachment is pretty cheap for what you get IMO. I make sausage and ground meat all the time.

Ser, you should definitely broaden your Kitchenaid horizons. Get some gadgets and **** around.

@27 those drunken noodles look great. And love me some zhong sauce. Debating trying the dumplings they sell now, but not sure they are worth the price.
