Random disposal question - bought a BBQ Daddy, which basically is a grill cleaning tool. You dunk it in cold water and it steam cleans the grill pretty well. Every time I’m left with a bucket of grease-tinged water. Wondering if anyone has any disposal tips. Tempted to simply throw it in the woods since it’s like 1% grease at most, but feel there has to be a better method. Any tips?

Did this at my dad's with an oven that only goes to 500 but it had convection.

I started my own thread thread, but it just occurred to me that this might also be a good place to ask. I’m looking for a top(ish)-notch restaurant in Cleveland. I’m open to anything, but one of the people I’m taking is a borderline vegetarian, so something with options for that is best. I’n thinking $200 or less per person. Wherever it is, I’ll need to be able to get a table for Saturday night, so nothing that books weeks in advance. Thanks.

my red sauce is always perfect.

I use spicy olive oil with sweated onions, garlic, cayenne flakes, sugar, tomato paste that i then reduce in tomatoes with dried oregano/basil. I blend it all with a hand blender with fresh oregano and basil at the end. So the sauce is thick, spicy and sweet with the sugar/onions blended into it.

Weber performer is elite. Propane start, lid holder, side table, master touch ash catcher, charcoal bin. It’s hard to improve from there.

I parboil sprouts before grilling and same with corn on the cob. Forgive me for the crust in the steak pic.

instead of parboiling your corn just grill it in the husks. When it's done the husks and the silk will brush right off.

id actually use charcoal if i had that, damn nice piece of equipment. If you have kids, make sure they know its your new favorite child .
