There just aren't many foods that offer a better ratio of deliciousness-to-effort than sausage gravy.

Is it just sausage meat in white sauce? This would be sausage gravy here in the UK:

think of it as spicy mince, most likely pork, in a heavily peppered bechamel
frequently served over u.s. biuscuits, think savory scone

this post from Bddvo a few days ago shows what it can be

Cannot think of any part of the USA where that would be known as sausage gravy but I am intrigued enough to go look it up and see if we have another name for it.

Edit: Possibly onion gravy.

That is stubby dog dick in bugger sauce and I wouldn’t even feed that to my cat. It’s possibly a favorite in London, especially with East Ender’s.

Anytime I make a cheat type of meal I announce it to my wife like Jeff Probst announcing a reward.

On the snowstorm menu tomorrow.

Chili……cornbread……ice cold beer!

Let’s hope the power stays on.

Gravy is the best food group there is. You guys are not powerful enough to cancel it.

Spoiler:
Even if that particular gravy does have sausage chunks in it.
