To make excellent pancakes DO NOT follow the instructions on the bag. Below is the way to go to make pancakes depending on size and amount. Adjust to your own taste.
Use the mix, add milk, add egg(s). Stir.
Now add the extras that make the difference, modify extras and amounts to your own taste.
Add ground nutmeg.
Add Vanilla (use real vanilla, the best comes from Madagascar)
Add some orange flavoring. Even if imitation.
Add fresh blueberries or huckleberries.
The mix should be thick; not runny.
Cook until golden brown on medium heat. Plate the pancake. It will smell delectable.
Add real butter and let it melt. Pour on some real organic maple syrup. The good stuff. Don't ruin the experience.
This goes extra good with some thick meaty bacon cooked just right.
Some fresh squeezed orange juice to drink is the perfect kicker.
The cat or dog will lick the plate clean for you if you don't do it yourself.
