I hate the Rx commercials where the list of possible side effects is worse than the disease the Rx in supposed to treat

Joking about or mentioning this is so cliche.

Just saw a DirectTV commercial that begins with a girl throwing her boyfriend's belongings (including a DVR?) out on the sidewalk while he looks up with a confused look. No explanation, no backstory. Not even sure it's her boyfriend. Could be her gay roommate and she's a homophobe, who knows?

And what's the message? Dump the guy, they're all ****. Enjoy tv.

I thought it was a really stupid commercial, but during an acid trip I realized that the guy and the **** is just a metaphor for dropping cable.

Commercial for Facebook running constantly during NBA playoffs is super aggravating.

Facebook was awesome - but then “Something happened”. Yea it’s called Facebook monetizing the **** out of every last piece of info they have.

Who is the target audience supposed to be for this anyways? People who gave up Facebook because of privacy concerns, but are going to rejoin cause they saw a “public apology” commercial?

There's a lot to unpack in this one minute commercial, but here it goes.

1) Zach is sad. Dad kicked the bucket, apparently unexpectedly.
2) Mom is worried that the family will soon be left in the gutter.
3) Zach is pissed and leaves in a huff startling mom.
4) He decides to join a gang of disenfranchised young thugs on the corner.
5) He won't get out of bed, presumably due to the benzos.
6) Mom finally decides to look at the life insurance online.
7) Zach keeps going out. He skips dinner. Spaghetti again.
8) Mom gets a check. What a relief.
9) Now she confronts her delinquent son.
10) Zach reluctantly turns over his first paycheck from his secret job. Lots of failures to communicate.
11) Mom breaks down with emotion and confesses she was exaggering the family's financial troubles.
12) Remember "Principal".

I almost posted that commercial the other day. It doesn't even know what message it wants to convey.

There’s one where a guy locks himself out of his car, so he messages his astronaut wife who is up in orbit doing a space walk...she unlocks his car for him through some app, apparently. I mean, I can buy it...it’s kinda cute. But what makes me so damn angry is the high pitches, whiny guy singing Steve winwood’s “Higher Love” over it.

It’s so amazingly awful.

Apparently this guy is functionaly ******ed as this isn't the first time it's happened and he has to message his wife to unlock the car because he can't either install an app or figure out how to use it.

Michelob Ultra I like beer commercial. Actually almost every Michelob Ultra commercial tilts me, going back to the ones with Lance Armstrong. Seems like their target market is douche-bros. Also, Chris Pratt sucks.
