To be fair, "I've had relatives and friends with Parkinson's who also go to support groups" isn't exactly indicative of the entire spectrum of Parkinson's. Kind of a dumb reason to hate the commercial IMO

I don't know everyone with Parkinson's, true. I know firsthand several people with Parkinson's, and they know firsthand many, many people with Parkinson's through support groups, and collectively none of them have had hallucination related sagas play out for their eyes and ears only. And to answer the question of how I know this, the wording in this specific commercial was discussed at one meeting, because there was curiosity as to how common this was. Now, is it possible that some people at that meeting actually have those symptoms and were ashamed to speak up? Sure, I guess. But the unanimous reaction was that they had never had that happen to them.

Also, I never said I hated anything. But the point is taken.

I watch a fair amount of TV, yet I have never seen this commercial. What shows/networks is this run on?

IDK for sure but I want to say football games(NBC, CBS, Fox) those are the only things I watch live and I wouldn't sit through that commercial.

This Mountain Dew commercial has a bunch of different variations, cracks me up almost every time:

The Olympic related commercial for Milk where they play the message that some athlete's Mom left for her, which sounds like it was recorded off of a 1980's cassette tape answering machine, where she says something like "Maddie, you have everything you need right inside of you." Like that sentence is supposed to be super profound and inspirational. The fact that they seem to play that commercial during every commercial break during Olympic programming, and sometimes twice in the same commercial break, makes it unbearable to watch. Instant mute.
