- old popular song
- blatantly obvious interracial family
- terrible pet being terrible
- pointless celebration
- ridiculous premise
- the worst video editing I've ever seen (lol dog jumping off the trunk)
- can't even list all the cringe in the ad
- creator gets immediate 100k bonus

Yeah that commercial is in a league by itself. Somehow it's so dumb and almost intentionally cringey - that it doesn't tilt me as bad as some of the others.

There's a series of radio spots locally for Grainberry cereal with "an ancient grain, onyx sorghum, and has antioxidants".

Terrible commercials and the idea that "this is what people ate 1000 years ago, therefore is it, by definition better for you." pisses me off. ****ing Boulder hippies.

+1 on the CoD commercial. I was entertained. I and I almost universally hate video game commercials. The long version is the best - when they're all in the black chick's BF's hot tub.

As a long time poker player I can't help but to think long term. So a 30 minute program might have 7-10 min of commercials. If you watch almost no tv that's not a big deal.


Now if you watch more then 10 hours of tv a week you are spending 25-30% of that time watching commercials. We all know you and me are watching way more than that. So at what point do you say, "WTF I am spending more then 1/4 of my ****ing time looking at **** adverts that I've seen over and over again to the point where a thing that is more precious then gold to me.... MY ****ING TIME, I'm wasting it on adverts."


When do you say, just that time waste is not worth being entertained from a time/time usage point of view. To me it seems to many people sell their time way to cheap. Now are you that cheap or worthless as a person? Where you can sell the most valuable and nonrefundable thing you ever have for pure dog**** called adverts?

Are you ok with that? Are you ok with 25%+ of you down time going towards rewatching **** to sell you on stuff that a lot of times will turn you into a ****tier human being? WHAT ARE YOU WORTH AS A HUMAN BEING THEN?

My high as **** friends yesterday were going off on preservatives and paleo and blah blah blah and I laughed and the one guy angrily asked "what the **** why do you think we're better than they [Neanderthals] were?" "Cause they lived till they were twenty". Slight delay and he burst out laughing with everyone else cause I BLEW THEIR MIND

I swear the first time I noticed this commercial I wasn't looking and just heard this in the background:

[vague water gurgling noises]
Guy: "What's going on here?"
Girl: "It's called a doodie, baby."

And I didn't look up at or hear the very end so I spend a few hours wondering WTF commercial I had heard the end of until I saw it again.
