Those NFL shop commercials where they talk about how a Vikings family becomes a Vikings Bengals Steelers blah blah family.

And the reasons for some of the new teams coming into the family is **** like our son moved to Pittsburgh so even though he was raised a Vikings fan of course now he roots for the Steelers.

THAT'S NOT HOW REAL SPORTS FANS OPERATE YOU IGNORANT ****S!

You'd think the NFL would know that.

My 30-second skip button allowed me to never see that idiotic commercial, so I just went looking for it. Horrible spot. I also found this...

That commercial is so ****ing bad. Actually, all of the NFL/Together We Make Football advertising is about as bad as it gets.

(Actually, just typing out "Together We Make Football" made me gag a little bit. Crap, and I did it again!)

In the opposites department, the Geico commercial with Salt 'n Pepa affirms that I will like any commercial that features Push It.

I've seen an alarming trend in radio spots (mostly local ones, maybe it's just a New England thing) that have some V.O. guy doing a bad celebrity impersonation. This morning I heard it in back-to-back car dealership commercials. The first one featured a bad impression of Arnold Schwarzenegger, the second one had an almost unrecognizable Rodney Dangerfield (the only thing that gave it away was the "respect" catchphrase). The Rodney Dangerfield one makes zero sense unless he's supposed to be hocking cars from beyond the grave.

I highly recommend watching the "Push It" commercial without sound. First time I saw it was that way, and I thought it was really clever. With the sound, and the changes they did to the song for the commercial it makes it play worse than without sound.
