I like the VW commercial with the dad (not) teaching his son how to play catch.
Even though I've bashed commercials that don't convey any information about the product they're advertising (all the VW one did was show what the car looked like), it at least made me laugh. The humor was unexpected and original enough that I'll make the concession that if I really want to know about the car, I can go online and look it up.
Anything involving Pepsi and Pitbull's stupid face.
Yeah, I can watch Sofia do a lot of things for long amounts of time, but that Pepsi commercial at the wedding was pissing me off throughout the Globes.
Let's just get this out of the way -- McDonald's has never once had a good commercial. I defy you to find one. Don't tell me the mcnugget rap either.
This one is quite the sacrilegious bastardization but it was a pretty memorable one from the mid-'80s.
But yeah for how huge of a company they are and how many ads they've run they really haven't had anything good. Every commercial is basically a freshed-faced half-black/half-white woman talking to herself about how amazing her day is now because she just ate 3,000 calories of fatness.
I universally hate almost every commercial but here is one I like:
"But, we love golf.."
"I don't hate golf.."
"I'mma get some water for those flowers."

LOL
EVERY SINGLE MCDONALDS COMMERCIAL is pure AIDS. Every single one. And the above is a great example of why.
I agree but I'm saying at least they have had some memorable ones, sacrilegious as they may be. I was probably 7 when that came out though so maybe it was only memorable to kids my age.
The tilting part is Jordan letting Bird free roll him for the big mac. You'd think somebody who supposedly took millions off of Pippen would be a better gambler.
irritating... but not horribad. Really, the worst local commercials in California are like very good commercials in the midwest.
Look at this....
They are horribad to me maybe because I watch so much baseball though, that one you posted made me LOL but I did work at a dealership. The ad is terrible but it's something I could imagine the old school guys I worked with thinking was good if they made it.
This one too. Just a bunch of idiots dancing and making snapping noises with their computers. Doesn't tell you a damn thing about the product.
Doesn't tell you anything except that it has a keyboard that can quickly be attached or removed, it's apparently very thin and light, it's a touchscreen, has a built-in stand, and runs Windows 8.
The thing about McDonalds is I don't think they really try to have "good" ads in the sense of being funny/clever/noteworthy. Those kinds of ads are used by companies trying to maybe increase awareness of a new product or actively battle for market share. McDonalds' position is so secure it's like they just have to remind you they exist now and then, and in the most broadly inoffensive way possible.
