i grow my nails out to pick up change more effectively.

i take pennies from register counters. i hunt for slot machines w/loose credits.

i carry 100's so my friends have a harder time giving me change when i owe them $$. speaking of owing money, i only pay back small amounts minus $1, which I say i'll get them back later, but I never do.
Hilarious! made my day

Well, I call it a POS but we've had it two years and no issues. It's just the crappiest car out of all our friends and we definitely make the most amount combined. yeah, i dunno why people drop so much on tv's. We picked up a 56' Sharp at future shop for about $500. in Canada.

When calculating a tip via a CC receipt, I sometimes calculate the exact amount needed to bring it to an exact percentage rather than just round it to the nearest dollar amount which would be 15.1%, 18.34%, etc.

When playing the pokers at the local joint, if I don't have enough comps to buy a meal I will use my credit card to charge vs. using my poker chips.

Also walk to the self-service soda machine and fill up 2-3 cups of my beverage of choice vs. ordering it from service as I'd then have to tip. This will hold me for about an hour or so and then I repeat the process. A few walks stretches the legs and saves me at least $5 in service tips over the course of a session.

I tend to be ACGstein when playing with the exception being for my gambol monies.

I think you are confusing frugal with being a cheap ass.

At my local casino pretty much all the regulars do this. I have also seen people sitting on 1K+ stacks waiting 45 minutes to order breakfast to save $3.

$1k stack on a 2/5 table, 8bb/100 winner is like $15/hr? Saving $3 on breakfast seems reasonable.

Edit: don't really want to post my hourly here and make this a poker discussion but my hourly was a lot more than $15.

I love HyVee grocery stores, great weekly deals a few times a week. Today I got 10 Yoplait yogurts for $3. More than half off!
