Another company asked me to do another test. This one was a lot of physics and algebra-I'm pretty confident I got all of these correct. The word definitions/bull**** part of this one was a lot harder than the last companies, but I think I did ok( no unscrambling word problems).
My interview yesterday went ok, but the interviewer was asking a lot of questions about my last company. He kept setting me up to trash the company. I had tested some of his equipment and he was unhappy with the pricing and the current engineers working on jobs for him. He kept saying, "they don't know what the hell they are doing right?" I was honest and tried to explain that there are some leadership problems with this testing group while at the same time not trying to drag my former coworkers names through the mud. I talked one guy up so much that the interviewer asked if he would be laid off soon, so he could bring my ex-coworker over to his company. He brought me to the lab and wanted me to explain all the test equipment to him and what I would do if x happened.
He told me he wanted to hire me that day, but he has to get his boss to sign off on adding a new engineer and my salary requirement. I'm not holding my breath for this one; it didn't feel like he had even let his boss know he was interviewing someone.
Not that anyone cares, but I made it to round 2 of interviews with Johnson Controls! They are hiring for this position in 2weeks, so it's not the typical large company policy to interview over a span of 3-4 months and have several face to face interviews.

You should have the name of the company deleted...you really don't want them finding this thread.
My interview today went really great! It's for a project engineer position, and I think I would just be completely awesome in the role. This was the first time I have interviewed with a woman, and Friday's interview will be with two women managers. I'm thinking of how great it would be to have a woman boss instead of a man with a fragile ego.
She told me I should start looking for places to live in the area soon because she wants to fill the roll in the next couple of weeks!
I'm pretty sure the company I'm interviewing with on Fri is going to make me an offer as well. It's a small town and there just aren't a lot of engineers that want to live there. Now I'm thinking I will have to choose between a job that will be meh but close to family, or a job I will love 3 hrs from my family. I'm really scared to be alone with my daughter away from family and a support structure. It was different being with Code3 because I always had someone who could help out. Looks like I'll have a big decision to make next week.
I'm sure you have no interest in saying where but intrigued by small town 3 hours away from Dallas in east Texas as that describes where I grew up. I'm guessing Marshall, it can accurately be described as a place people don't want to live.
