Best Buy currently has MacBooks for $50-$100 off (not really sure which). Hoping to find a good deal on one this holiday.

That's how luxury items work. People pay more for a product that's usually inferior in quality to something else in the price range but they pay for the brand.
I buy headphones as a listening accessory. Thus sound quality is just about the only thing I care about. Spending an extra $100 on a headphone to impress someone walking down the street? Just lol

If your goal is to look "cool" while listening to horribly bad highs, terrible mids and obnoxiously beefed lows, beats are just the right thing for you. Do they sound OK? Sure. For $50 all day long. For $2-300? You can get something that sounds 20x better, looks exactly the same, minus the giant B on the side

Referring to beats headphones as a "luxury" item?

There's a category called "affordable luxuries" (Starbucks, etc), which are relatively inexpensive (but pricier than the competitors). They make people feel that they can afford a "luxury" and distracts them from not being able to afford things like a house.

$35 for a pocket-sized portable battery charger that should be able to charge my phone anywhere from 5-10 times on a single charge. Looks perfect for long trips.
Why not just buy a new battery for your S4? Thats one of the good things about the phone to begin with, you can swap in a new battery whenever.

Also, 27o, I'll have the headphones shipped to you for $160 flat, (save you ~$15 in tax) if you want, PM me.

Because carrying 5-10 full charges with me is better than carrying a single charge? I'm trying to imagine how buying a new battery would be anywhere close to this. [It's also not limited to cell phones, so could just as easily charge my laptop, or even both at the same time.]

Thanks JL but ordered them yesterday to be shipped to my local Staples. They also didn't charge sales tax even though it was shipped to a MA store hmmm...

Sorry there was a bit of a misunderstanding here. Two things: 1) 20,000 mAh for $35 is very cheap (too cheap imo). And 20,000 mAh should be HEAVY. 2) I got the impression that you bought it because your battery wasn't holding a charge much any more, in which case it might make more sense to buy a new battery and not encumber yourself with a battery backup. The S4 and especially the S5 battery last soooooooooooo long so if that were the only issue I would just buy a new battery. But it seems like you also wanted a battery backup / bank.

Wal-mart changed its policy on price matching thus ending the GOAT scam; people just got a little too greedy.

Alternately you could just change the price, take a screenshot and present that.

Yeah in theory we could photo shop prices on any ad right? Or go in with something like dream weaver and edit the prices like that

All TV's with same specs but different brands are not the same AINEC. Anyone TV shopping...my reco would be to spend some time at a site like avsforum.com and read through the "what should I buy thread"...I spent a month or so researching and completely changed my decision on 65" LED TV and was leaning vizio due to good reviews but ended up going with the Sony KDL-65w850a and it f***ing rocks. It's last years model. Probably wouldn't consider 4k either....nothing really pumping through at that resolution for quite a while anyway and the cost difference just not worth it IMO.

You don't think they'd double check it on another phone or anything?

I agree that it isn't worth it right now, but DirecTV is about to release 4K VOD.

haha

I haven't looked at TV prices in ages but $200 for a 50" tv seems unreal. That's 1/4 of what I'd have guessed.

Not sure what day or time amazon is running that 200$ 50in TV deal. I think their Black Friday stuff is daily starting today.

I'm a little worried this will be a 60hz, which is so slow compared to the 120
