Wouldn't be surprised if the case is strong. People forget dates and events from that long ago and get them mixed up.

Probably has his lawyers coming through records to find small inconsistencies, along with general evidence of "they were irresponsible, sexually promiscuous drug users"

If he wins or manages to drag these women through court to any significant degree it would be a horrendous miscarriage of justice.

Everybody already knows he's a serial rapist by now. I guess he must be getting some kind of weird satisfaction out of suing, whatever. Kinda sucks for the women.

If he sues and wins, even on something that doesn't contradict the original accusations; it muddies the waters enough to allow people to pretend he's innocent if they want to.

Most of this stuff happened in the 60s through the 80s. Because of the huge numbers of women coming forward now, we see a pattern of behavior. If any one woman came forward when it happened, the cops would have told her to take a hike. Regardless of what she said, they would have heard "I was drinking/drugging with Bill Cosby and we ****ed." No case here. No press would have touched it either.

Not really sure how someone on Cosby's legal team could sleep at night. Has there ever been a situation in the history of life where multiple lawyers refused to represent a high profile person on moral grounds? It'd be nice to see some of these everyday chumps forced to represent themselves.
