i've known more than one girl to describe awkward guys as creepy or even rapey. two of them vocalized it with their friends as a means of socializing or to look cool. a third girl actively put a weak, but nice enough guy into an ugly seeming position (think drunk sex) just to make fun of him, which they didn't realize hurt his feelings pretty bad. i wanted to tell the third girl and her friends off completely, but they prided themselves on how 'hard' they were and did stupid **** all the time like using a taser to wake each other up, so there wasn't much of a point.

the first girl married a poker player, the second got her ass kicked at a christmas party, but i don't know what happened to the third one and her crew. they were smarter than their actions usually so they probably ended up just fine.

This may very well have to do with not allow some sense of betrayal. That person who is seemingly a rapist has made you feel good a lot of times due to his funny jokes so feeling betrayed seems normal but some people probably can't handle that.

I thought it was funny the jury asked "what is reasonable doubt?" on the 6th day of deliberation.

Seems pretty reasonable for a deadlocked jury to ask for clarification on what reasonable doubt is.

Pretty difficult to get me to award a little **** money for slipping.

Seems like this is getting way too much coverage. It's a mistrial. The prosecution says it will proceed with a retrial. So its likely we'll see a second trial. Seems like its being treated the same as though we had gotten a verdict. Hopefully CNN and MSNBC aren't going to go all day with wall to wall coverage on this. Good story...yes, but it was not unexpected after the developments during the week and is getting boring fast.

Is our justice system truly the best when racial divides influence it? Judges can be corrupt as **** just like any human can but anyone hearing this case shouldn't think twice. It's sad it's pathetic it's a joke. Maybe they do need a bit more power because a jury of our peers clearly isn't getting it done in high profile cases.

Black people have faced decades of a justice system that is pretty much there to **** them over. Hardly any african american trusts the court system, and to put a literal black icon like bill cosby in jail would be a hugely difficult thing to do. It just looks like the system is trying to **** over another black guy if there is any hole in the victims story whatsoever. I would probably feel the same way if i was in a similar position.

But whatever we dont know that's what happened, but i would not be shocked. I do think he's guilty but the victim's credibility seemed meh.

3.50% chance he was there when his bookies had her killed (as a warning that he would be next) for an unpaid debt. Reasonable doubt.

Honestly I would bet this would have more to do with the fact that its sexual assault rather then because of the black guy in the jury. A lot of people just feel like women have it coming when they are raped, maybe not 100% but at least a little bit. What was she doing in his hotel room alone? Why did she contact him that much? These are all questions helping him to not be beyond reasonable doubt in some males/females heads.

courts have steadfastly refused to define reasonable doubt in probabilistic terms but a 3% chance of innocence is absolutely reasonable doubt in my opinion.

Should not think more than once, or less than 3 times.

One thing is that we all know that, like OJ, he is guilty in a moral sense, another thing is whether the prosecution was able to prove it or not. Since much of the evidence is witness testimony (useless) from a long time ago (even more useless), reasonable doubt seems reasonable, as it might have been for a juror in the OJ trial.

OJ verdict was a middle finger to the LAPD, nothing more, nothing less.
