Debatable, but she is certainly the most famous person on the planet who is not the president. I have literally never heard a bad thing about Hanks. A few about Oprah, but none that mean anything.

Cosby really was even more so. Cosby show was the #1 show 85-89. Blockbuster wasn't really a thing back then. It was an entirely different generation and tv ruled more than it does now. So for wholesome family entertainment at home, Cosby show really ruled back then.
