This may surprise you but typically, different countries have different rules and laws. Also, the bike lane setup and where people ride might be different from country to country. In some states/cities here, bicyclists ride among the traffic. They can use a left turn lane intended for vehicles to turn left. In New York, they weave in and out of traffic all the time. A lot of roads don't have bike lanes and they'll ride among the cars on the main road.
I don't see what is so "lol" about bicyclists using signals to let vehicles know of their intentions so they don't get run over. I find your bizarre "lol" overreaction to be even more absurd. And I used to regularly go on 30-40 mile rides as a teenager so yes, I'm familiar with riding bicycles among vehicles and always did so safely.
