Anytime you can get like 5k+ for tickets to see some 70 year olds play you should probably sell unless you're already worth like 8 figures.

Lol deadheads

Also, an old has no exact age imo.

Whenever you start taking noticeably longer to do simple tasks, forgetting things, falling significantly behind on technology and current events, etc. for some people this is 50, others it could be 80.

Pretty sure you could respond to every RiverFenix post like this.

Ten best things about being old

10. Unimportant
9. Unimportant
8. Unimportant
7. Unimportant
6. Unimportant
5. No need for birth control
4. Unimportant
3. Unimportant
2. Financial security

1. I've had great sex more times than anyone else on this board, except, possibly for another old, and I ain't dead yet!

51.

I actually saw a policeman do something nice this morning. There's an intersection on the way to work that has a no-right-on-red sign. There was the usual U.S. Capitol policeman standing on that corner this morning, but as cars pulled up to the red light, he checked for cross traffic and waved them forward to make rights on red. I drive in front of that intersection every single day I go to work. There is always a policeman there, and I've never seen one do that before.

Of course, one wonders why the U.S. government pays a policeman to stand on the south-east corner of first and constitution every day, but who knows, perhaps that has somehow saved all of our lives for some unknown and perhaps unknowable reason.

Rasta not only has not been containing himself, he's been offering life advice in HurricaneNick's thread. wtf

That would be totally standard for a cop in LA, but if there's one thing people know in LA it's that keeping traffic moving as best as possible is what Hen.ry would call a First Principle.

I'm going through receipts that an employee gives me for which he is reimbursed, and:

Microbet,

Is that the only item on the receipt?

It is.

He just gives me a mess of receipts - most are for gas, some for supplies for work for which he is reimbursed.

I'm not going to even mention it - not a big deal - he's a very good solar panel installer. Will not count it as an expense either.
03-02-2015 , 06:49 PM
That's pretty funny. Maybe he and a client have a passion for handrolling high end cigars and it was used as a sales tool to get a new client. Is he Cuban by any chance?
03-02-2015 , 06:53 PM
That could be my brother, he is a solar panel installer and definitely dumb enough to do exactly that.

But I doubt he would ever smoke whatever disgusting wrap that sounded like.

27,

Please move Rasta's posts from HurricaneNick's thread to his blog, then move his blog to the blog forum.

Thanks!

Larry,

Where is your brother? CT? If so, how do people who have to work outside survive there? I mean get enough work, not survive the cold.

Oh c'mon, TypicalBro does no harm. Just leave it for him. I've honestly only posted in response to him specifically and haven't posted on that particular thread about myself for a while now (and honestly, nor do I plan to in future - my story there is done)
