As a lol cheesesteak voter I def would have gone pastrami over cheesesteak. Cheesesteak and Reuben are both bottom 50% sandwiches

I'm actually ashamed I even voted in a fake cheese vs ketchup and mayo poll

I voted cheese steak but it's not like I felt good about it. It's a shame how the end result is two safe and uninspired sandwiches.

I voted against reuben more than I voted for cheese steak. I'm not even inspired to troll the reuben. If people enjoy putting bird regurgitate on their sandwich, I'll accept that fact.

I would eat a Reuben without sour kraut any day of the week over cheese steak. I'd also want to swap out the Swiss for provolone, thousand island for mayo, and even take out the Rye bread because that stuff is just gross.

While I agree that Reuben is more inspired, the only component I enjoy is the corned beef (which is only good if done right). Reuben is, unfortunately, among my least favorite sandwiches in this entire contest.

Fake cheese against fake beef. It might just be a sign of our times that these are the candidates that rose to the top. I have no other option but to sit this one out and hope for a brighter future where real sandwiches with real content have a chance to get elected.

I’m with you. Never ordered or thought to order a Reuben at an Irish pub. Had corned beef and cabbage at an Irish pub many times. No idea anyone associated Reubens with Irish pubs.
