One of two things will happen when you do this.

1) She'll get mega-pissed and accuse you of being a pervert; then beat you down every time you you do something she doesn't like by reminding you of your "transgression." IMHO, this kind of woman isn't worth living with because you'll be walking on eggshells and dancing to her tune, yet getting nothing but the occasional obligatory lay from her when she feels like it.

2) She'll understand that being a prude isn't in her best interest. Then you can teach her how not to be.

I don't envy your spot, OP. My wife wouldn't be cool with me watching porn either- unless she was watching with me. I'm fortunate that the best porn I could ever watch happens to be with me as a participant.

That said, you've reached a crossroads of sorts with the wife. You're engaging in a behavior that she doesn't approve of because there's something lacking in your relationship with her. Maybe it's time you two had a serious chat... but I'll be so bold as to tell you that I'd do it unapologetically.

If you're watching the porn because you've been in the habit of watching porn for however many years - then look into changing your habit.

Either way - intentionally doing something that hurts your significant other, in the long run, leads to only 1 place.
