Set out your current bills, maybe they’ll pay them.

To be serious for a moment, all of the cleaning services that we've tried aren't very good. They pretty much top clean and even that's not done very well.

Meanwhile, I just got up from a nap and there is brother w/ brushes and gloves cleaning the walls in the living room area. Apparently he simply can't stop. There are worse behaviors, of course, but non-stop cleaning might be in that psychiatry book of listed maladies.

How much money does your siblings contribute to taking care of mom? If they are deadbeats this is probably their way of "making it up" and "helping mom"

Mom's all set for money. My sister, otoh, will visit 3 stores to save $5 on something or other. And they help in any way they can which is a major help to me.

I get along w/ my neighbors and I'm thinking maybe brother would enjoy his stay better if he got to clean another house. I could ask for a hundo and not tell him!

Clean it so its absolutely spotless like a brand new bathroom..... but leave an enormous dump in the toilet with the lid down for the real wow effect.

Personally in times like this I defer to the Paris Hilton theory on workology; Page 256 Paragraph 3 line 4 stipulates proper technique is to work the shaft and chortle the balls. Quite honestly this has gone over my head and have nothing left to offer on the subject, thank you and good night.

They use the guest bathroom for themselves. So they won’t have to clean your toilet, so it’s clean for their own use. Right? Seems like you are an underdog getting it done. Seems only way is to make their toilets inoperable, so that have to use yours.

I’m lost though how OCD and clean freaks stop at the toilet. That’s the real issue. I think we need to find out the deep rooted issue there. Some kind of phobia going on with the toilet. A toilet intervention perhaps?

Wait... you have a filthy, messy home that your siblings have to clean for your mother, and you're trying to angle them into cleaning your personal bathroom that you haven't cleaned for a year (outside of scrubbing the bowl) and claim to not care if it's cleaned or not?

First of all... dude, you live with your 92yo mother - keep a tidy and sanitary home for her.

Secondly, stop trying to bullshit us into believing your siblings are some kind of freak neurotics when all they are trying to do is keep a tidy and sanitary home for their 92yo mother while visiting her.

Thirdly, clean your own bathroom and bedroom, ya lazy ass.

Lastly, thank them for taking the time and energy to attempt to do a year's worth of cleaning in a few days due to your neglect. A nice dinner for them on your dime seems appropriate, since helping them with the cleaning seems to be something you're not capable of doing.

They are not actually OCD clean freaks. OP's siblings are cleaning the house for their mother's benefit. Outside of towels and bathroom mats, they refuse to get on their knees and clean piss and **** on the floor around OP's personal toilet since their mother does not use that bathroom.

Lol @ complaining that cleaning services don't deep clean while also simultaneously complaining that your siblings are deep cleaning.

Ikr? It's like, "Bitches, you're saving $300 per night staying here, you can pick up after yourselves even if you don't at your own home."

I thanked them very much. Plus they get more than dinner: I hand them credit cards. Nearly their entire stay is on me.

BTW, I appreciate you because you are one of my biggest fans. You never miss replying to my spectacular threads, tyvm!

Yes, of course - you're welcome. The first time you took a shot at red O/8 way back in the day and we pummeled your ass back down to white, I immediately became a fan of yours and it grew stronger with every subsequent shot, albeit too infrequent, that you took at red O/8 & S/8. Finding out that the home you live in looks marginally better than way you dress, makes me an even bigger fan!
