I got one with a detachable mic so I can just hold the unit outside the window without having to stick my head out. Works great.

Even the tried and true custom from my previous homeland of "drive right up behind said ******* until they get the message and change lane" doesnt seem to work here, people just refuse to budge unless you go around them.
People get the point if you hit the horn, but it also really makes some people angry.

That takes too long, and then people get combative. Much quicker to just switch lanes and pass them angrily!

I'm always impressed by people's abilities to emote through their cars. It really is an extension of personality.

funny thing is, in real life i'm very slow to get angry, very passive, but in a car i'll get pissed relatively much quicker. i think though, in a car i feel like people do much more objectionable things than they'd do face to face.

i generally merge fast, at traffic speed or above if i can. every now and then, i'm in a row of cars, and i can only merge as fast as the car in front of me, and the car behind me takes it on himself to merge early before the white line goes dotted, and then accelerate fast and be almost directly to my left. i completely ignore and just merge over into them. so far, it's worked out for me, and i've forced them to quickly switch another lane and get out of my way, one time i had to honk as i was doing it. but that's pretty much the one situation i'm like **** it beep beep gtfo.

Oh absolutely. People in general are very opportunistic, and they're much more anonymous when in their steel/plastic box on wheels.

I prefer passing on the right, cutting off, then downshifting and seeing how slow I can go before they move into the right lane.

I don't know what I'm more surprised by - someone buying a megaphone for their car, or that a megaphone only costs $30

I could post in this thread every time I get on the freeway. My onramp is crazy. The first part of the onramp is super long uphill, but the very end there is one of those traffic break lights, so during rush hour you enter the freeway going 40 because the end of the onramp is too short.

The freeway I get on is the end of one freeway, that splits off into two different freeways. So I get on the freeway and have 1/4th a mile to change two lanes to get to the one I need. The split goes in the opposite direction (right lanes go above and across to the freeway that breaks to the left side) so anyone not familiar with the area is in the wrong lane and doesn't realize it until the last second.

Total chaos every time.

And also how every car and truck can drive the same speed safely on the same road. What a coincidence!

There are a ton of drivers who want to merge super early before the lines dots and then drive along next to you preventing you from merging... And as you speed up to 85 or whatever they are going the same speed, they just really wanted to get started 2 seconds early, If you want to merge super early before the driver in front then u need to move over another lane quickly.

I have also noticed the people who speed up so u can't pass. Wtf is that about? Are they self conscious that they were going slow and now compensating?

More accurately, she can figure out where her gas tank it, but not how to align that side with the pump. I'm so happy things like that make their way to the internet.

Just witnessed something that blew my ****ing mind. Driving on a 3 lane road, 45mph speed limit. Multiple turn arounds available on the left hand side, literally 5 turn around options in the next mile.

I see a vehicle go from the far right lane to the left to try to make a turn around, almost hitting another vehicle. This turn around is backed up with cars though, so he can't get into the turn around lane. He decides to sit and hold up traffic for 30 seconds in the left lane, waiting for the turn around light to turn green, so he could get over, instead of just driving 500ft further and doing the turn around.

I was the person right behind him and laid on my horn for a solid 5-6 seconds. No movement. People are just insane man.
