Update on the worst scam attempt ever.

Because of this I checked my profile page and realized that my email address was readily available to anyone who looked at my profile, so immediately changed that then sent a private FB message to my friend saying "Just wanted to let you know in case this is also being sent to a lot of other people you know, but I got the following email sent to me with your name as the sender/ subject."

I just recieved the following response which shows that it is his FB account that has been hacked and not mine at least.

"Am so sorry i did not inform you that i will be going on vacation to Wales United Kingdom,this is for real,I'm doing everything i can to work my way out of here peacefully.. i have checked with the consulate but there is nothing really working out, most important is i don't have any money on please, please i need you to loan me some cash to sort my our hotel bills,i promise to refund you back as soon as we get back home."

My friend's profile page has posts from him talking about running into traffic yesterday while going to the middle of nowhere Pennsylvania.

I sent the following response to the return PM

"So sorry, I didn't realize just how desperate your situation is. Give me your bank account # and i will be SURE to transfer ever cent I have!"
