Anyone have any thoughts?
I think a mass email is a lot more appropriate and more importantly more effective than gaying up your signature.

I don't really have a problem with any of those threads, a couple have even been interesting, except that they are mostly unoriginal extensions of the knife vs bat and how many 5 years olds classics.

you could have a survivor game based on one of these kinds of threads. Something like you post a scenario, they post their weapons or guesses(how many 5 year olds...) and OOT votes on it.

Yeah I played a MMO for 3 months before college and learned all these things. I would be happier if I didn't know them.

I was under the impression that TT was korean for "GG" - i.e, good game, and it just happened to look like crying.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangul

5 double letters (glottalized): 1. ㄲ (kk)

glottalized kk sounds like our lower case gg (Korean doesn't have a hard G sound), and looks like TT. I'm glad we cleared that up.

TT definitely equals crying, but is mostly done as T_T. gg is universal and pronounced as gee-gee by even Koreans, as the StarCraft community and Eurotrash will testify to.

Your neighborhood friendly Korean,

I'm so oldskool Koreans didn't know how to pronounce GG in my day!

my girlfriend is korean and told me they use this ㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲㄲ for a kind of laughing sound that sounds kind of like kk like whoever said above. also it took me a while to figure out what TT meant. she does TT, T.T, and T_T

So the kitty looked way worse today than she did last night so I took her into the vet. She has and abscess and has to anesthetized and have it drained. The doc said, though, that is looks like she won the fight so that is good I guess. :/

I may have cried because I am a wimp and I love her and it is expensive.

Last edited by pongo; 08-26-2010 at 08:07 PM. Reason: Also I am super awesome for spelling anesthetized correctly on the first try.

Except you left out like... important words that make the sentence function like it should be functioning.

Is this the worst attempt ever at an email scam?

I'm writing this with tears in my eyes,my family and I came down here to Wales United Kingdom for a short vacation unfortunately we were mugged at the park of the hotel where we stayed, all cash, credit card including my cell phone were all stolen from us,But luckily for us we still have our passports with us.

We've been to the embassy but the Police here but they're not helping issues at all and our flight leaves in few hours from now but we're having problems settling the hotel bills and the hotel manager won't let us leave until we settle the bills..I am so confused and freaked out right now and thank God i wasn't injured because I complied immediately.Waiting to hear from you.

Thanks
The name in the email is an old college friend who I've only spoken to once or twice since I got on Facebook so the email is obviously a scam attempt, but I don't see where they have any chance of getting any money? The idea seems to be to get me to send $$ quickly without actually checking it out 1st but they don't tell me where I am supposed to send it to?

Lol at going to Wales for vacation.

You can send it to me and I'll make sure they get it.

I assume after you respond saying you;re going to help them out, they tell you where to wire the money.

Trying to buy a reasonable old beater is a real PITA. I looked at a 01 Grand Cherokee tonight from a private seller. Pictures looked fine on CL, and although he mentioned it had "minor body damage" I wasn't really worried. Expecting some scratches and maybe some dents.

Hell no, the front quarter panel was basically caved in. Opening the drivers side door made it sound like the whole thing might fall off.

Also, "no mechanical issues" except for the fact that he has rigged some sort of wiring into his fuse box to run one of the fans somewhere. I popped the hood and there were loose wires basically everywhere.

I looked at it for about 45 seconds and then left. Thanks for wasting an hour of my time dude.

say something like 'man, i'm a little strapped now, but could probably send a couple grand to help you out.' then give them a bunch of fake western union info. if they get back in touch, say 'omg i can't believe what an idiot i am, been trying to get you, it was actually (competitor)'

that email is a pretty easy "shipped gl" response

Watching the Hoff roast and am wondering what the hell George Hamilton got famous from? I know of him from some commercials but other than that what has he done?
