The Virgin Mary has appeared on the outside of one of my (unused) pet doors. Can this be worth any money to me?

It's better not knowing some things. Many things, actually.

It looks more like Edvard Munch tagged your house.

House dust mites are microscope bugs that primarily live on dead skin cells regularly shed from humans and their animal pets. Dust mites are harmless to most people.
Quote:
Skin cells and scales, commonly called dander, are often concentrated in lounging areas, mattresses, frequently used furniture and associated carpeted areas, often harbor large numbers of these microscopic mites. Since the average human sloughs off 1/3 ounce (10 grams) of dead skin a week. That gives dust mites a lot to eat.
Quote:
Beds are a prime habitat (where 1/3 of life occurs).
Quote:
The medical significance of house dust mites arises because their microscopic cast skins and feces are a major constituent of house dust that induces allergic reactions in some individuals.
Quote:
Mites prefer warm, moist surroundings such as the inside of a mattress when someone is on it.

wow, I always though The Scream was by someone 'more famous' since the only Munch I had ever heard of was played by Richard Belzer. I have learned something today and that something is 'I am a rere'. The more you know.

It took all three levels to plant the idea that Inception is anything other than brilliance. And nice sleeping with you btw.

Two work things:

1) We have a customer that is about 90 years old. We have made some super simple parts for him for about 7-8 years now. He is retired, but sells some parts that he has other companies make and assemble. He is starting to lose his capacity to function mentally. We drop ship his parts directly to his customer, and we've had to talk to this company several times about billing discrepancies due to his errors in thinking parts have shipped when they haven't. The guy is super friendly, always happy, and would be decribed by anyone as a sweet old man. This morning when I got the mail from Saturday, the return address on an envelope sent from him was his bank stamp for depositing checks stamped twice, neatly side by side.

2) In lighter news, I think I've picked up a tell on one of my employees concerning calling in sick on Monday's. On Mondays I usually collect the time cards from the punch in/out clock for the guys in the shop, and individually collect them from the office people. The guy in question has given me his time card at the end of the day on Friday a couple times in the last few months, including this week. He called in sick today. I've got my eye on that SOB.

Didstopia is officially no more. Kyle, Pongo and I handed our keys to the landlord on Saturday. I would like it noted for the record that not once did we drag any household BS into OOT. Mostly because there wasn't much BS.

not true. you guys once used an iteration of this thread to remind each other to pay various bills.

Yeah, that was the most boring LC thread ever

Meh- there was never any bill related drama (everything was in my name and I paid it when it was due and they'd always get me later). Early on we had like a quick back and forth about something mundane that amounted to like 4 posts, and then a subsequent 20 posts from everybody else yelling at us about it.

Unrelated theory of internet posting.

Posters named after historical and/or pop culture figures that are not istewart gimmick accounts are ****ing horrible 99% of the time.

No offense taken. Your picture reference is just over my head, or it just hasn't clicked yet. Last time that happened, it turned out to be excellent, so I'll assume it is good.
