so would it be possible to litterbox train a terrier such as howard's dog? I've had a dog in the past and currently have a cat and the convenience is amazing.

I vaguely recall reading that this is possible. Also, I would obviously walk the dog, just not 3 times a day in the rain.

My mom's dogs, when they bother to pretend to be housetrained, will occasionally use a litterbox so it's definitely possible. She has terriers and a papillon.

ETA:

I've a former co-worker who is good friends with an Italian guy from Italy who owns and operates his own restaurant. We got to sit down in a group of 5 for a custom meal tonight.

- steamed mussels in a spicy tomato broth
- grilled sardines in olive oil/lemon/garlic/parsley
- a half-dozen large roasted prawns
- baked halibut with a tomato-strawberry relish
- black pasta with lobster

He charged us $45/person for the food.

The bolded part is more a function of the owners than the dogs, so you should be fine. Unless you suck at training your dogs.

Dear all:

I will shortly be requesting a permaban from ATF as I have zero self-control over how much time I spend browsing 2+2 and OOT, in particular. This would be fine if I worked a computer/office type job like a lot of you, but I'm a writer and it's just no good.
