this is all nootka's fault.

It's important we remember that.

Man, if I want something that tastes good, I'll have a soda or a glass of milk.

Beer is for getting drunk so drink whatever you can have the most of, imo. A nice balance for me is Mac and Jacks.

A glass of milk tastes good?
08-05-2010 , 11:02 AM
Nootka posting that made me read politics, which exposed me to their moderation, which jesus christ is lolbad.

Never follow a discussion into politics to matter how heavily invested in it you are. This is like rule #1 of 2p2 and rule #2 of the internet.

I don't hang in Politics much, but considering the zoo that is the thread I'm wallowing in, I can't imagine it's an easy place to mod.

It's made more difficult when you don't permaban obvious trolls/idiots.

Yeti,

I got this same thing. I had a thread in the mod forum on it. Malwarebytes seems to do the trick. I'd encourage you to run that program even if you think you're now clean. Sometimes malware can hide inside your restore points.

I haven't enjoyed the taste of a glass of milk since I was like 12. I currently believe it exists to be used in cereal or cooking. Small exception for dunking Oreos.

This LC thread is lame at the moment so here is a funny joke you guys! It wasn't good enough for Konrad, but it's good enough for you! This was uncalled for.

So Alan is studying astronomy at the university. He has a friend, Bob, who is a food critic for a magazine. So one day they see a job posting for part-time astronomers. It's a 3 month project and pays $10-12k. They both apply for it and Alan thinks he has a better chance because he is studying the subject.

It turns out that they both got the job! Then they compare their salaries, Alan is getting paid $10k, but Bob is getting paid $11k! Alan thinks it's totally unfair. "Bob, how come I'm the one studying astronomy, but you get paid $1k more? You just know about food!"

So Bob says, "Hey, it's astronomy plus a G!"

I don't think this is strong enough to be it's own thread but, what are the best ice cream bars, snacks, etc. to bring into work that will make co-workers jealous to the highest degree? I need to know about jealousy levels over the widest range of people and about the highest levels of irritation.

This could... be solidly bonqueish I guess but it doesn't really come together yet. You need to find a way to make it more succinct. Perhaps visuals will help?

astronomy plus a G i think is a better punchline.
08-05-2010 , 11:28 AM
If I could get it to work I would totally make it a Konrad! I don't know, how, though

Edit: yes, "astronomy plus a G" is better

That was uncalled for.

There's got to be a good way to work in a G as it has to do with gravity.
08-05-2010 , 11:38 AM
pulling an extra G....meh
08-05-2010 , 11:43 AM
I like it. It doesn't work in the back-and-forth Konrad format, but it's a fantastically painful joke in an awesome way.
08-05-2010 , 11:50 AM
Would you tell that joke in real life, and expect people to laugh at it?
08-05-2010 , 11:53 AM
I have told many similar jokes in real life. Girls love it if your delivery is good.
08-05-2010 , 11:54 AM
man sorry garcia i just dont find you funny at all. i know im not king of laughs on here but every joke by you is brutal or is that the point?
