No, but there's one across the street and next door on both sides, and **** there might even be one above it now that they built that hardrock cafe bull**** I'm not sure I haven't been on that part of the strip in ages cuz I'm classy and go to good places on the strip.

I tried Guinness once and it hurt my throat. It was like drinking a pine cone.

Going to good places is why you don't have any fun and can't go out on your own.

No, having stupid ****ing brain chemistry and no friends is why I don't have any fun and can't go out on my own.

You should probably just drink daiquiris, LF.

lol. At least it shows you don't care about gay marriage as a current event. Sorry I do not remember the exact number for every proposition Cali puts out every year. Whether gay people have 100% instead of 95% legal parity with heteros in one state isn't that important really.

Prop 8 was close in notoriety to the Arizona immegration law. If you live in the US and weren't aware of it, you probably don't keep up with current events.

I am sorta wanting to destroy some people on facebook because of it, but those people are family so it won't make anything good. Goddammit.

I read on a website that Rolling Stone may have shopped the photos of Katy Perry. Looking at the weird head angles it wouldn't surprise me.

OOTers can you imagine this forum if they decide YouTube embedding possible on 2p2?

There's a reasonable chance that he won't be your friend any more. Let's say the chance is 100% - would you still try with the girl? If so, go try with the girl. Presumably you'd also go try with the girl if the chances were 10% he'd stop being your friend too.

I don't think it bodes well that you are coming up with justifications. I'd bet that you know the chance is closer to 100% than 10%. So just be honest with yourself as to what you're spending to take the chance.

Ignore DBZ's comment about Bud Light. As a friend of mine said about American macrobrews: "Drinking Bud Light is like having sex in a canoe. It's ****ing close to water."

That said, the first beer I would always recommend drinking is Shiner Bock. It's one of the best there is, but I'm in Texas, your availability might be spotty.

What I would recommend doing on, or shortly after, your birthday is finding a quality pub with a wide selection of beers. Drop in during sometime that isn't Friday or Saturday night, and let the bartenders help you find something you like. Look up reviews of the places online, or look at their website. Find a place with more than just Bud Light, Coors Light, Budweiser, and Miller Light on tap.

A good example is http://gingermanpub.com/. They have something like 50 or 60 beers on tap and a wide selection of quality bottles.
08-05-2010 , 10:14 AM
wow your friend came up with that all on his own

The gingerman pub sounds exactly like a place knivescout would be stalking LF at. Enter at your own risk LF.

You're fighting a losing battle here. Proposition 8 is known widely across the country as Prop 8. It made headlines for a month. I know about it, and I live in Canada.
08-05-2010 , 10:29 AM
All of those were known in the news as their name. Prop 8 was known as prop 8. Quit being an obtuse little bitch.
