I've watched the whole movie twice. It f*cked me up each time. Not sure I can do it again.

Nice title. Probably one of the most epic I've seen!

A fine Bighurt/kiosh-k production.

I think my favorite scene is the chair-dragging guy. Just so unnerving.

Dwight should've won the academy award for this

permission to use only the following phrase for the duration of this thread:

'so, you're just crazy in a ****** kinda way, then, huh?'

Yah no.

John Ritter also killed it, along with Yaokam.

An excellent movie that I have never had an urge to watch a second time. There are a few others in that category but not very many.

I find Requiem to be quite beautiful, in a harrowing way.The cinematography and editing are stellar. I’ve seen it half a dozen times.

I’d never watch Mother! again, though.

I might do Mother! one more time because when I saw it in the theater the whole time I was just like, "wtf is going on?"

You guys must not be talking about the underrated Albert Brooks/Debbie Reynolds comedy.

Considering I was tracing one to another via common director, no.

Yeah, fully agree with your compliments; it's a tremendous piece of art. I just found it too tough to take to really want to go back to it. I don't totally rule out an additional viewing, but it's about as good of a film as I can think of that I haven't revisited years later.

I've watched RfaD several times, and it is perturbing AF every time. I've never watched Sling Blade.

This one is worth watching a second time for a renewed appreciation of the skills of the actors and director. As great as LOTR:ROK was, Clint should have taken this year down. At least Penn and Robbins got theirs.

Anyone who hasn't watched sling blade really should take the time.

It is also interesting in that it was written and directed by nobody Billy Bob Thornton, who figured this was his only real shot at writing, directing and/or acting. A really great film with a ton of heart, especially considering where it came from.
