I did a little research on unstuck politics and apparently they don’t care for Lapka’s opinion of them and have let her know.

JFC lapka was goddam annoying. When she wasn't threatening to leave for the umpteenth time she was reminding everybody how indifferent she was about the forum (for the umpteenth time).

There is a theory that in groups people will fill certain roles. If someone leaves, someone else must fill their vacant role.

It’s a weird feeling to win an auction. Knowing you were willing to pay more for an item than anyone else on the planet. Not sure if I should actually be happy.

I always thought I was onto something back in the late 90s by searching eBay for typos and trying to score steals on things like baseball cards. I thought I was going to get huge steals by running searches like "Grifey," and those typo searches did take me to unique auctions. Unfortunately a bunch of other people clearly had the same idea and the misspelled cards/memorabilia pretty much went at the same price as the ones that were spelled correctly.

This is exactly how everyone who bids on a construction project feels.

So last night after a bad, bad session at 2/5 I got up to leave and a guy at the table was like "you're Very Josie aren't you? From 2+2?

I confirmed that yes I was and shook his hand.

Then he said "I recognized your earrings from 2+2."

And yep, I was wearing the hoop earrings that are in my profile picture but I still think that's odd. That's the only way he recognized me?

Over there they call us 22, not 2+2. Rude!
