I am determined to make this shindig happen. I will be leaving our lovely city in a month and a half for a very long time. I'd love to meet some of y'all that I haven't met, but more importantly I'd like to get shithoused. I think that most of y'all have similar sentiments!!!1!

The first thing that we need is a good location, probably in downtown as that seems to be a central location.

The second item of business is a date. Naturally, this event should be held before school starts and before people get all worried about school starting and have to move, etc. etc. I therefore propose sometime in mid-July. WHICH IS COMING UP!!!

Any volunteers for a location?

I nominate mmbt0ne, since his white ass said that he would organize this hoopla but then he lazily retreated like the GT student he is.

I'm also leaving in a few months, and I agree completely with your second sentence. I don't have any location suggestions because I don't actually live anywhere near Atlanta, but anywhere with alcohol and women will probably be good.

I am very much willing to spend $$ for alcohol (naturally provided that someone else goes to the store), as are others. I would think that the host wouldn't have to pay for booze. List any other trepidations you might have as for hosting this shindig.

And don't think that this event has to be like a big, official 2p2 thing. It can be just a few people getting together and having a good time insert lame pozz joke!!!!

d10- I am sorry, I play poker, post on an internet message board, and go to Davidson. I don't know any girls.

I really don't have a problem w/ pple meeting up @ my apt on Cheshire Bridge (@ the Heights) for a few drinks and then heading somewhre. I'd HAVE to of course check w/ my roomates, however they are both 2+2'ers so I don't see any big problems.

When it starts to get crowded we can just take it outside till every1 gets here, or just leave early. I vote we go somewhere like Fido's or somewhere in the highlands where conversation can actually be heard over the music. Others may have better recommendations so lets hear em.

I'd def be fun, and if you give me enough time I could prob trick some girls into being there as well. Whatchu guys think? Holla

It'd be nice if we could hold this off until after 7/29 so I can be there. And it might actually give AEKDBet time to get the coffee table he's been putting off since mid January. If I'd like a trip report from multiple perspectives.

I won't be in town the weekend of the 29th, but I should think that the next weekend would work.
