Had a meeting with the accountant today. The bar has done good since it's opening, but the summer season is over now and it's survival time. I can afford the flight out but I wouldn't be able to baller it up, and there's nothing I hate more than not being able to baller it up. There's no way that I want to come over and then not be able to truly get down with you guys, something that I really want to do at some point.

So I'm going to pass. But my plan is to make it out after the Winter season is over and our first Italian tax bill on the bar is paid so I know how I'm going. I'm thinking May 2008. I'll remind you guys well before obviously.

Have a drink for me at both get-togethers and once again I'm really sorry that I can't do it this time.

No way!!!!! I'm totally down. The 28th is the best for me. You guys can come drink at our place and then we can go to Taco Mac!!

I am going down to Atlanta the weekend Sept. 15-16 to watch the BC-GT game, can you guys recommend any places that are must visits with a free day. I was down in the Spring for the BC-GT bball game (hopefully football will have a better outcome) and went to all the touristy places (CNN, Coke building, aquarium). Saturday will be tailgating/game, but I really want to experience some of Southern character that Atlanta has to offer on Sunday.

Brunch at Mary Mac's (or Treehouse if you're younger - this place is really cool, young professional environment), Piedmont Park, go check out Atlantic Station, they have all kinds of cool things going on during the day on weekends (eg a couple weekends ago they had a huge beer festival), maybe have a meal on the Chattahoochee like at Canoe or something, I'll post more if I think of something else.


Also, I found out that I have to go out of town for work for ONLY the weekend of Sept 28, which means I miss a) my weekend b) the 2+2 get together and c) the Clemson game.

I am not happy.
